“Even while living in the world, the heart of Mary was so filled with motherly tenderness and compassion for men that no-one ever suffered so much for their own pains, as Mary suffered for the pains of her children.” -Saint Jerome, Father and Doctor of the Church. What could better describe our Mama Mary was simply, The Queen of Heavens, but she is more of a mother than a queen, to us. She was a refuge to all people, to all her children. Mama Mary is a way to the right path. With her guidance she recreates our inner selves. Through her, we find out more of ourselves. Through her we get closer to her son, our brother, Jesus Christ. Through her we are saved. Mama Mary taught us to pray, she gave the rosary to us, to help us and encourage us to have faith, an undying faith to our God, for He is our Father. As Mama Mary ascends into the heaven, she gave us hope and peace. The calm sky and heavens opened its doors for us as she arrived. And She left it open for us. Open, so we can ask for guidance. Open, so we can ask for forgiveness. Open, for her heart is always open for us. She is the Merciful Queen. She is our Merciful Mother. And she would always be beloved.

“Let us run to her, and, as her little children, cast ourselves into her arms with a perfect confidence.” -Saint Francis de Sales, Doctor of the Church. In every person’s life there is mother, even if he or she is unknown to him, she’ll always be the mother. But to that person, there is always a mother. We have grandmothers and aunts. Though not everything in the mortal world is everlasting, there comes a time that we are left, that we experience grief, we feel alone and to that we shed tears and mourn. We realize, it hurts so much that we think we can never pass this. But our Mama Mary touches our hearts and offers herself to be our refuge. She is the mother that will be in our side forever. And then we realize, together with her, are the ones we missed so much. Through her we begin another phase in our life. Through her we realize the world. I know we are afraid to lose our loved ones. But Mama Mary is there for you and me. So are God and his Son, Jesus. I pray for their safety. I pray for forgiveness. I pray for gratitude. We look up into the skies. And we raise our prayers to the Lord. *The photo taken features Mama Mary with the sky as it’s background. The sky symbolizes the heavens, of which our Mama Mary awaits us together with our Holy Father and Jesus Christ.
