I have chosen this image to represent Mother Mary, for several reasons: when I think of Mother Mary, I think of her as always present with us, watchful, merciful, loving, caring and tender. With the loss of my very dear friend, Zivco, to cancer only two days ago, I think of the Virgin Mother taking care of my dear friend as he ascends into heaven.
